Schedule Details

Arrive in Varanasi

Arrive at Varanasi Airport (recommended flight before 1:30 PM). Meet and greet, followed by transfer to the hotel. After check-in and lunch, proceed at 4:00 PM to the Ganges for a boat ride and witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, the most iconic and sacred ghat of Varanasi, located near the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

Varanasi Local Sightseeing – Sarnath Excursion

Start the day early with temple darshan at Kashi Vishwanath, Annapurna Mandir, and Kala Bhairav Mandir, followed by visits to Sankat Mochan Mandir, Durga Mandir, Tulsi Manas Mandir, and Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

After breakfast, proceed to Sarnath—the sacred site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon post-enlightenment. Visit the Sarnath Museum (home to the National Emblem), explore the ancient ruins, and visit the Mahabodhi Society Temple.

Varanasi – Prayagraj (145 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs)

After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Prayagraj—an ancient city of immense spiritual and historical significance. Known as Prayag in ancient times, it is situated at the sacred Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. Once the capital of the Kuru dynasty and later renamed Ilahabad by Emperor Akbar, the city has remained a major political, cultural, and religious center through history.

On arrival, visit key sites of interest:

  • Take a holy dip at the Sangam, believed to cleanse sins and grant spiritual merit.

  • Visit the revered Bada Hanuman Mandir and the sacred Akshayvat Tree, mentioned in Hindu mythology as indestructible even during cosmic floods.

  • Explore Anand Bhawan, the ancestral home of the Nehru family and the birthplace of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Prayagraj – Chitrakoot - Prayagraj

After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Chitrakoot, a serene and sacred destination nestled on the banks of the Paisuni (Mandakini) River, at the northern edge of the Vindhya hills. Known as “The Hills of Many Wonders,” Chitrakoot holds immense spiritual significance in Hindu mythology.

It is believed to be the place where Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshman spent 11 of their 14 years in exile. Here, they met Sage Atri and Sati Anasuya, and the region is said to have witnessed the presence of the divine trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. Chitrakoot is also closely associated with Goswami Tulsidas, who composed parts of the epic Ramcharitmanas here.

  • Kamad Giri – Sacred hill believed to fulfill wishes

  • Sphatik Shila – A spot with legends of Ram and Sita

  • Hanuman Dhara – A serene spot with a shrine and waterfall

  • Ram Ghat – A holy bathing spot on the Mandakini River

  • Janki Kund – Believed to be the bathing place of Sita

Return to Prayagraj by evening.

Prayagraj – Ayodhya (180 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Ayodhya—one of the most sacred cities in India. Also known as Saketa, Ayodhya is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama and serves as the setting of the epic Ramayana. Once the capital of the ancient Kosala Kingdom, Ayodhya holds immense religious significance and is counted among the Sapta Puri—the seven most sacred pilgrimage sites in Hinduism.

Places of Interest:

  • Ram Janmabhoomi – The revered birthplace of Lord Rama

  • Kanak Bhawan – A temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita

  • Hanuman Garhi – A hilltop temple with panoramic views
