Schedule Details

Arrival Bhubaneswar - Puri (70 kms/1.5hrs)

Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station, meet and greet by our representative, then proceed to Puri. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. After freshening up, visit the sacred Jagannath Temple—one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites revered in Hinduism. Post darshan, explore other significant shrines within the complex including the Anand Bazar, the Grand Kitchen, and Koili Baikuntha, where Koili signifies a burial ground for the trinity and Baikuntha represents heaven.

Later, enjoy a visit to the scenic Niladri Beach / Blue Flag Beach, or take a stroll through the local beachside market for handicrafts and souvenirs.

Overnight stay at Puri.

Jagannath Temple Timings: Open from 05:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Closed for 1.3 hours (7:30–9:00 AM) and 1 hour (12:00–2:00 PM) for rituals.
Dress Code: Devotees must wear modest attire. Shorts, half pants, torn/ripped jeans, skirts, and sleeveless dresses are strictly not allowed.
Temple Entry: Non-Hindus are not permitted inside the Jagannath Temple and Gundicha Temple premises.
Restricted Items: Mobile phones, cameras, leather goods, food items, tobacco, pan/gutkha, polythene/plastic bags, and large bags are not allowed inside temple premises.
Safety Advisory: Beware of monkeys around the Jagannath Temple. Keep wallets, bags, and valuables secure.

Puri-Konark-Bhubaneswar (120 kms/2.5 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Gundicha Temple (viewed from outside due to entry restrictions). Later, drive towards Bhubaneswar, enjoying a scenic and heritage-rich journey en route.

Stop at the peaceful Chandrabhaga Beach, followed by a visit to the magnificent Sun Temple at Konark, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Interpretation Centre, which showcases the temple's history, architecture, and cultural significance.

Continue to the vibrant Pipili Appliqué Market, famous for handcrafted appliqué art, and then head to Dhauli, known for its Buddhist Shanti Stupa and Ashokan rock edicts.

On arrival in Bhubaneswar, visit its iconic temples:

Lingaraj Temple (entry restricted to Hindus only), the largest and most revered temple in the city
Mukteswar Temple, known for its exquisite architecture
Rajarani Temple, famed for its sculptural beauty
64 Yogini Temple, showcasing 64 unique Yogini idols, each with a different hairstyle – one of only four such temples in India

Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

Lingaraj Temple Timings: Open from 05:00 AM to 08:00 PM; closed from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM for rituals. Entry to Garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum) is allowed from 06:00–08:00 AM and 01:00–04:00 PM.
Temple Entry Restrictions: Non-Hindus are not allowed inside Gundicha Temple and Lingaraj Temple premises.
Konark Sun Temple Timings: Open from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
Konark Light & Sound Show: Operates from 06:30–07:15 PM (Winter) and 07:00–07:40 PM (Summer), subject to weather and minimum 25 pax. Closed on Mondays.

Bhubaneswar - Departure

After breakfast, and if time permits, proceed for a short sightseeing tour of Bhubaneswar:

Visit the ancient Khandagiri and Udayagiri Jain Caves, renowned for their historical and architectural significance.
Explore the Tribal Museum, offering insight into Odisha’s indigenous culture.
Visit Kala Bhoomi, a unique craft museum showcasing Odisha’s traditional arts and crafts.
(Please note: Both museums remain closed on Mondays and government holidays.)

Later, you will be transferred to Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.

Udayagiri Caves Timings: Open from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
