Schedule Details

Arrive Madurai - Rameshwaram - Rameshwaram Local Sightseeing

Your journey begins with arrival at Madurai Airport, where you'll be received by your driver/guide and proceed on a 3–4 hour drive to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and freshen up before starting local sightseeing. Visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines, known for its grand corridors and intricate carvings. Continue to Agni Teertham, a holy bathing spot for pilgrims, and conclude the day with a beautiful sunset at Dhanushkodi Beach, where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean.

Rameshwaram Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, continue exploring Rameshwaram’s spiritual sites. Start with Gandamadana Parvatham, offering panoramic views and featuring Lord Hanuman’s footprint. Visit Kothandaramaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama, followed by the sacred ponds like Satchi Hanuman Kund and Lakshmana Tirtham. In the afternoon, relax at Agnitheertham Beach or explore Rameshwaram’s local markets.

Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari - Kanyakumari Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, depart Rameshwaram for Kanyakumari, a 5–6 hour drive to the southernmost tip of India, where three seas meet. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where Swami Vivekananda meditated in 1892, and the towering Thiruvalluvar Statue nearby. End the day by enjoying the stunning sunset views from the Kanyakumari shoreline.

Kanyakumari - Madurai - Madurai Local Sightseeing

Rise early to witness the beautiful sunrise at Kanyakumari, a serene start to the day. After breakfast, drive back to Madurai. On arrival, check in at your hotel and freshen up. Later, visit the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, known for its stunning Dravidian architecture. Continue to the historic Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, admired for its majestic design. End the day exploring Madurai’s lively markets and shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs.

Madurai - Departure

After breakfast, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or a quick stroll through Madurai, depending on your departure schedule.
